Reviews and Ratings
This hostel has an excellent location right in the city center, just off the main square, making it very convenient for exploring Maribor. However, the facilities are a bit dated, and the room furnishings felt like they were from the '80s. While the price is quite reasonable, the lack of Wi-Fi in the hostel area and the small, vintage rooms could be drawbacks for some travelers.
I was really tired when I arrived at the Youth Hostel, and honestly, my room felt like heaven after a long day of travel. The location is prime, right in the center of town, which is a huge plus. The beds were comfortable, and they provided clean linen and towels. However, I found the price quite high for what felt like a hostel experience, especially since breakfast wasn't included.
I stayed at this hotel because of the central location, which is definitely a plus for exploring the city. The experience was mixed, though—while I did get a clean room eventually, the overall quality was below expectations for a 2-star rating. It worked for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer visits, especially with the lack of ventilation and noise from the street.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to the main square which makes exploring the city easy. While the room was a good size and very clean, the dated carpet and lack of Wi-Fi in rooms were notable drawbacks. The breakfast seemed overpriced for what was offered. Overall, it’s a decent choice for a budget stay, but don’t expect modern amenities.
